Our task was to design lighting that would reinforce the connection between the interior and the exterior, while ensuring optimal lighting conditions for each individual area. Worth noting is that the building features extensive glazed portals, allowing generous natural light throughout.
How the exterior lighting comes together
The interior is fully lit with XAL luminaires. For the exterior, we combined fixtures from Wever & Ducré, Simes, and Bega. The resulting system includes wall-mounted luminaires, outdoor spotlights with DALI dimming capability, and recessed ground-level fixtures rated IP67, meaning they are fully dustproof and can withstand submersion in water for up to 30 minutes.
Our scope also included lighting the outdoor dance floor, which now offers ideal conditions for evening events. The result is a coherent lighting environment that fully meets the needs of the community.
