LEED GOLD Offices and Smart Lighting Control
Meeting the stringent requirements of the international LEED GOLD standard demanded a strong focus on energy efficiency and lighting control, as the certification imposes a strict cap on total installed power density across the entire interior. We solved this challenge through smart technology: office lighting automatically adjusts based on daylight availability, while occupancy sensors manage lighting in restroom and service areas.
All office luminaires are fully dimmable via a DALI system and integrated into the Building Management System (BMS). This setup guarantees maximum user comfort along with optimized operational costs.
Office Lighting with XAL and Halla Luminaires
The selection of fixtures was driven by visual comfort, low glare ratings, and high color rendering (UGR and CRI standards). We maintained these high standards across executive offices, workstations, and open-plan areas alike.
Depending on the space's requirements, we specified either the modular XAL TASK linear system with microprismatic optics or the Halla Lina 45 featuring a black louvre. The high modularity of the XAL TASK system allowed us to shape and configure it to fit the specific layout of each room.
Additionally, we incorporated XAL UNICO luminaires to ensure uniform wall-washing and ambient light. Representative areas are anchored by the striking XAL MINO circular pendant, while XAL ARY designer pendants create a welcoming ambiance in the breakrooms and kitchenettes.
Acoustic Pods for Enhanced Privacy
In partnership with Uffizy, s. r. o., we outfitted the Welkin and Portin offices with additional interior elements, including acoustic phone booths—providing dedicated, soundproof spaces for confidential calls and focused work.
